Edamame Tribe

My kids love any form of beans cooked in any way or form or even raw for that matter. Chickpeas, red kidney beans, broad beans, baked beans, peas, snake beans, flat beans, snow peas, green beans... you get the drill. Who would've known there were so many different types of beans! Oh only if the pre-baby me could see me now!

Anyway, l have been literally dreaming of trying Edamame beans lately (hmm... l wonder who the kids get their bean addiction habit from?). So l finally got my hands on a batch of cooked delicous Edamame beans and bought some home for my kidlets.
"What's this beans mummy?" Atilla asked immediately.
"These are called Edamame beans" l told him, "Try them".
They both absoulutely devoured them in minutes, both on an already full tummy!

"Yumm... Mummy" Atilla announced, "l love Mama beans".
Later on in the night he asked to have some more "Mama beans".
When l told him all the Edamame's were finished and we didn't have anymore, he was disappointed and asked with a sigh if he could please have some "...Daddy beans then???". Such a sweetheart is my little Atilla bean.

So l've got a mission to complete tomorrow. I need to find me an Asian Grocery Store that stocks fresh Edamame so l can cook it myself.
